‘Revise civils list’
HYDERABAD: The AP State Backward Classes Welfare Association has sought revision of the 2005 batch UPSC civil service list in accordance with the recent ruling of the Madras High Court. R. Krishnaiah, president, in a statement here on Sunday quoted the court order to say that injustice had been done to SCs/BCs by selecting them under the reserved category in the civil service examination. He stated that 31 BC and one SC merit candidates had been included in the reserved list, whereas they should have been named in the open category. – Special Correspondent
