JAIPUR: New master plans proposed to be formulated for all urban local bodies in Rajasthan by 2010 are set to speed up development of cities and make the life of citizens comfortable. Works such as construction of new roads and development of parks will be taken up on priority under the master plans. Minister of State for Urban Development Surendra Goyal, presiding over a meeting of MLAs from Udaipur division here, said elected representatives should suggest new projects for beautification of urban landscape. State Local Self Government Secretary Manjeet Singh and Director, Local Bodies, O.P. Harsh were among those who attended the meeting.
