Bardolia shines

Mumbai: Assam’s Ranji Trophy captain Nishant Bardolia’s thumping 102-ball 144 helped Oil India Limited (OIL) score a convincing 87-run win over Engineers India Limited (EIL) in the Mini League of the BPCL organised 28th Petroleum Sports Promotion Board inter-unit cricket tournament here on Sunday.

The scores: OIL 266 for six in 35 overs (Nishant Bardolia 144) bt EIL 179 for two in 35 overs (Chattar Singh 78 not out, Virendra Sharma 58 not out).

GAIL 189 in 35 overs (Vimal Kumar 67) bt CPCL 149 for nine in 35 overs.
