Heavy rain continues in Kanyakumari

Nagercoil: Heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightening continued to lash various parts of Kanyakumari district for the third day on Sunday.

The maximum rainfall of 87.4 mm was recorded at Kottaram followed by 35.8 in Surulode, 28.2 in Myladi, 26.3 in Nagercoil, 18.2 in Kannimar, 16.2 in Boothapandi, 14 in Pechipparai, 10 in Chittar I, and 8 in Chittar I and Aralvoimozhi.
