Bad weather hampers KLM flight from landing at Shamshabad

HYDERABAD: Minutes after the first Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt landed successfully at the new Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad early Sunday, a KLM 873 flight from Amsterdam with 302 passengers failed to land at the airport following bad weather. The flight landed in Mumbai. It was scheduled to land at Shamshabad around 1.30 a.m. on Sunday. Hotel accommodation was provided to passengers in Mumbai. The Hyderabad-Amsterdam KLM 874 flight was also cancelled. Necessary arrangements were made for passengers.
