Skeletal remains in mosque trigger panic in Asif Nagar

HYDERABAD: The discovery of skeletal remains from a mosque triggered panic at Saber Nagar in Asifnagar on Sunday afternoon.

Based on a request from locals, activists of the Deccan Waqf Property Protection Society went to inspect the 400-year-old mosque located in a graveyard and found heaps of skeletal remains. Then they informed the matter to police. “There is no foul play. Skeletal remains belonged to those buried in the graveyard,” police said.
