Huge haul of pirated CDs

Coimbatore: The flying squad police and Tirupur police on Saturday and Sunday made a huge haul of pirated compact discs of the latest Tamil, English and Hindi movies. Three persons have been arrested and 530 such CDS seized. On instructions from Coimbatore Rural Superintendent of Police, G. Karthikeyan, the local police and flying squad police personnel conducted surprise checks at Pollachi and Tirupur. The police said the drive would be intensified. — Staff Reporter
