Sri Sri Ravi Shankar visits Satya Saibaba at Puttaparthi

ANANTAPUR: The Art of Living guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had a meeting with Satya Saibaba at Puttaparthi on Monday. He arrived by a helicopter from Bangalore and drove straight to Sai Kulwanth Hall at Prashanti Nilayam, where Saibaba was giving ‘darshan’ to the devotees.

Ravi Shankar paid his respects to Saibaba and after getting the blessings he went inside the ‘green room’ the place where private ‘interviews’ with Saibaba generally take place. The two were closeted for nearly 40 minutes. Satya Sai Central Trust sources stated that Ravi Shankar’s meeting with Baba was of the nature of pure spiritual discussion.

Later, Ravi Shankar left for Bangalore. Popular spiritual gurus visiting Puttaparthi and paying homage to Satya Saibaba is a rare happening though a few well-known men did visit the place occasionally.
