Sangrur: Police on Monday arrested two robbers and seized from them some arms and ammunition and a car. Balwinder Singh alias Binder and Jarnail Singh alias Jaila were arrested and an AK-47 with three magazines loaded with 63 cartridges, two .315 bore pistols, two .12 bore country-made loaded pistols and one .32 bore loaded revolver were recovered from them, Senior Superintendent of Police Paramjit Singh Grewal told reporters here. A Maruti Zen car is also recovered from them. The SSP said both the robbers have “terrorist record” in the past and a special police team has been constituted to nab their accomplices.
