Gaya: Two top officials of Gaya District Board and Municipal Corporation were removed on charges of alleged misuse of official position. Shobha Sinha, chairperson of the district board, has been axed by Magadh Divisional Commissioner K P Ramaiah on charges of misuse of office, tampering of minute book and deliberate non-constitution of various committees of the board, sources in the Commissioner’s office said on Monday. Lalita Devi, Mayor of Gaya Municipal Corporation, was also removed after verification of charges about misusing official position and tampering minute books against her, sources said.
