In support of Bhopal tragedy survivors

BANGALORE: On the occasion of Shaheed Diwas, over 50 volunteers from Sankalp India Foundation on Sunday held a candle-light vigil in support of the Bhopal Gas tragedy survivors who are marching to Delhi to urge the Government to meet their demands for a dignified life. “The Bhopal gas tragedy survivors, even after 24 years, have no access to pure water, shelter, proper healthcare and food. We think that the dream of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev for a socialist, just society has not been fulfilled,” said Rajat Kumar Agarwal, president of the Bangalore chapter of Sankalp India Foundation.
