Applications invited

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The IHRD has invited applications for admission to standard VIII for the year 2008-09 in the Technical Higher Secondary Schools under it.

Those who have passed standard VII or are awaiting results are eligible to apply. The applications and prospectus can be had from the schools up to April 18. The application fee is Rs.100 for general candidates and Rs.50 for candidates from the scheduled communities.

For getting the applications by post, request accompanied by DD for Rs.130 in the case of general candidates and Rs.80 in the case of candidates belonging to the scheduled communities drawn in favour of the Principal of the respective school should reach him on or before April 11. — Special Correspondent
