Subbiah sworn in as Additional Judge

CHENNAI: R. Subbiah was sworn in as Additional Judge of the Madras High Court on Monday.

Chief Justice A.P.Shah administered the oath of office. The warrant of appointment was read out by Registrar-General R. Mala.

Welcoming the new Judge, Advocate-General G. Masilamani said as a practising lawyer, Mr. Justice Subbiah was known for thorough preparation and unperturbed presentation of cases. He was very patient and a man of few words.

The Madras High Court Advocates Association, Bar Association, Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Pondichery, Women Lawyers Association and the Law Association welcomed the newly appointed Judge.
