Rajiv sizzles

NEW DELHI: Rajiv Kar struck the match-winner, as Indian Airlines recovered from a goal down to beat Central Secretariat 2-1 in a group ‘B’ match of the ‘A’ division DSA institutional football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Monday.

Earlier, Manoj had scored the equaliser for Airlines after Vinod Kumar had put the Central Secretariat team ahead in the 14th minute.

In group ‘A’, Railway Board beat Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) 1-0, thanks to a goal in the 10th minute by K. K. Singh. In another group ‘A’ encounter, Ashish Kaul and Rakesh Barua struck a goal each to guide Urban Development Ministry to a 2-0 triumph over Bank of India. — Special Correspondent
