R.R. district credit plan launched

HYDERABAD: Ranga Reddy District Collector Praveen Prakash and officials of State Bank of Hyderabad, the chief loan providers for the district, on Monday launched the district’s 20th annual credit plan with a total outlay of Rs. 2,279.96 crore, a release informed.
The priority sector will get an amount of Rs. 2,079.88 crore, which exceeds last year’s outlay by Rs. 380.78 crore, the release said. The sector-wise allocation includes Rs. 513.04 crore for agricultural loans, Rs. 469.67 crore for non-farm sector and Rs. 823.98 crore for other sector, the release said. The total outlay for non-priority sector is Rs. 200.41 crore.
Mr. Prakash appealed to the bankers to extend maximum loans for poverty alleviation and employment generation schemes.
