Rail union disappointed

The East Coast Railway Shramik Union has expressed disappointment over the recommendations made by the Justice B.N. Krishna VI Pay Commission.

General secretary of the union and joint general secretary of All India Railwaymen’s Federation Ch. Gandhi on Monday strongly criticized the discrimination shown in respect of lower cadres. The minimum wages was fixed at only Rs.6,600 against the Rs.11,000 demanded by the union, he said.
