New Collector takes charge

HYDERABAD: Naveen Mittal took charge as the Hyderabad district Collector from outgoing Collector R.V. Chandravadan at the Collectorate office here on Monday.

Mr. Mittal, who had earlier worked as Visakhapatnam Municipal Commissioner and also Krishna district Collector, said the eradication of child labour, education and housing for poor would be his priorities. A 1996 batch IAS officer, Mr. Mittal hails from Patiala in Punjab and is a computer engineering graduate from IIT Delhi.
