Two press staff found dead
Staff Reporter
CHENNAI: Two persons, said to be relatives, were found dead under mysterious circumstances, in a printing press at Alwarpet on Monday.
The police said Ramalingam, 45, of Ambal Nagar, Chromepet, and Srinivasan, 28, were working in the press on Tiruvalluvar Salai at Seethamma Colony. Ramalingam was married to Srinivasan’s elder sister.
Investigation revealed that Ramalingam and Srinivasan had some differences of opinion. On Monday, when the press owner came to the office, he saw the main door partly open. When he searched for the employees, he found Ramalingam dead and Srinivasan hanging in an adjacent room.
Police sent the bodies for post-mortem and have registered a case of murder and unnatural death.
