BANGALORE: The famous and delicious Devana-halli Chakotha is on the verge of extinction as the land available for cultivation of this juicy fruit has drastically reduced owing to the development activities there. Horticulture Secretary P. Ganeshan said the government was in the process of seeking GI tag for this fruit. — Special Correspondent
