Aries Agro opens plant

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Aries Agro Ltd on Monday opened its largest micronutrient manufacturing plant (32,400 tonne per annum) at Pashamylaram near here. This is the company’s fifth plant.

Addressing a press conference , Aries Agro Executive Director Rahul Mirchandani said that the production capacity of the fifth plant was more than the combined capacity of the four plants. He said the manufacturing facility was fully automated and 100 per cent indigenous. It would be run by just 15 persons, avoiding human error. There would be no toxic effluents and emissions.

The unit would pack Chelamin (Zinc Chelate) in self-dissolving sachets in 25 and 50 gm packs. They would be ideally suited for single spray tanks. The company had 41 brands in the market.
