ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court Bar Association president and Pakistan People’s Party leader Aitizaz Ahsan on Monday described the judges’ release as “a moral victory” for the people of Pakistan. Mr. Ahsan said the “journey is only half-complete” without the reinstatement of the judges. He told The Hindu he was confident the National Assembly would act on the declaration. “I believe in the bonafides of the Murree Declaration, and I believe in the bonafides of Asif Ali Zardari and Mian Nawaz Sharif. It is a very clear and unambiguous document,” Mr. Ahsan said.
