TNAA releases calendar

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Athletic Association (TNAA), on Monday, released the calendar for the year 2008-09.

The events: Tamil Nadu Senior championship (May 17 & 18, Anna Stadium, Palayamkottai); Indian Grand Prix-II (June 4, Nehru Stadium, Chennai); National inter-state senior championship (June 9 to 12, Race Course, MGR Stadium, Madurai); TN junior inter-district championship (August 1 to 3, District Stadium, Tiruvarur); South Zone junior championship (August 21-23, Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore), Indian Grand Prix-III (September 25, Nehru Stadium, Chennai), TN junior championship (October 23-26, Perambalur District Unit at Ariyalur); TN cross country race (first week of February 2009, Kodaikanal); TN cross country championship for the Nationals, first week of March 2009, Ooty); District-level championship (September 1 to 15, throughout Tamil Nadu).
