Bizarre incident

NEW DELHI: In a bizarre incident, a young man beat up another man for allegedly teasing his female companion in Greater Kailash here on Monday.

However, the claim was refuted by the victim as well as the girl.

Gurpreet and his companion were travelling in his car when Pawan, a resident of Defence Colony, allegedly passed lewd comments at her. An enraged Gurpreet stopped his car in front of Pawan’s bike and reportedly attacked him with a sword resulting in injuries to the latter.

Pawan was taken to the AIIMS trauma centre.
