Kidney case: wanted cops surrender

New Delhi: Two Delhi police constables charged with taking a bribe from kidney racket accused Dr Upendra for releasing him, surrendered before a local court on Monday.

Rakesh Kumar and Naresh Kumar, special staff of Delhi police in Central district, surrendered before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate A.K. Kuhar.

They are accused, along with five other policemen, of releasing Upendra after taking a bribe of Rs 20 lakh from him on January 7. -- PTI
