Student held for making obscene calls

NEW DELHI: A 19-year-old engineering student has been arrested for allegedly making obscene calls to women operators at the Central Police Control Room here.

According to the police, Rinku Moni Viadnath, a resident of Sadiq Nagar, had been regularly making obscene calls to women operators for the past two months. He was tracked down with the help of advanced electronic devices and the information was passed on to the Defence Colony police station for appropriate action.

The accused is pursuing engineering from Bhopal and stays with his mother.
