Prithviraj -- were nabbed by the Kakinada rural police on Tuesday on the charge of theft. Gold ornaments, two computers, a printer, a motorcycle and a cellular phone, all worth about Rs. 5 lakhs, were recovered from them. Presenting them before media persons, Superintendent of Police B. Besides, Radhakrishna and Prithviraj had stolen computers and accessories from an Internet centre in Gandhinagar a year ago. Rural Circle-Inspector R.V.S.N. Murthy and Sarpavaram Sub-Inspector B. Rajasekhar nabbed the first two accused persons when they were trying to sell a mobile phone to a person at Gudarigunta and recovered the stolen property from them. Prithviraj was arrested later following information provided by the duo. The accused persons had created panic in different parts of Kakinada town, Sarpavaram and surrounding areas where they resorted to a series of chain snatchings by wearing helmets or monkey caps to conceal their identity.
