Bid to commit suicide

PUDUKOTTAI: Sathya (20), a teacher training student of Vanakankadu in the district, reportedly attempted suicide on Monday by consuming poison as she could not obtain her course completion certificate from a Tirunelveli-based institution. Sathya was said to have been disappointed over not being able to register her qualification with the district employment exchange in time. She was admitted to the Pudukottai GH.
