Jewellery stolen

ATTUR: A few unidentified persons decamped with jewellery and cash from a house in Housing Board colony here on Monday.

The police said Bakyaraj (42) found the doors of his house broken open, when he returned to Attur after visiting his relatives in Tiruchi on Monday.

He found seven sovereigns of gold jewellery, 400 gm of silver and Rs. 10,500 missing from his home. He registered a complaint with Attur police.

Summer camp

The Young Mens Christian Association (YMCA) will conduct summer camp for boys and girls at its premises from April 9, a press release from Salem YMCA Secretary M. John Michel Jose here has said. More information can be obtained from the YMCA office.
