84 students debarred
Bangalore: Eighty-four students were debarred for three years for indulging in malpractice during the economics examination of the second-year Pre-University Course conducted on Tuesday. According to a press release here, the maximum number of malpractice cases, 22, was reported in Bijapur, followed by 18 in Belgaum, 10 in Bagalkot, eight in Gadag, five in Tumkur, four in Haveri, two each in Bangalore North, Chitradurga, Gulbarga, Bangalore Rural and Chickaballapur, and one each in Bangalore South, Ramanagara, Bellary, Bidar, Kolar, Raichur and Dakshin Kannada. — Staff Reporter
