Ban online trading, Ramadoss urges State
Special Correspondent
S. Ramadoss
CHENNAI: The State Government should take steps to ban online trading, Pattali Makkal Katchi founder S. Ramadoss said on Tuesday.
In a statement, Dr. Ramadoss said the Chief Minister should mobilise the support of like-minded Chief Ministers and urge the Centre to ban the trading. The approach should be proactive, instead of telling the PMK to bring the matter to the attention of the Centre.
He said all sections of people were severely hit by the rising prices of essential commodities. He argued that the cause for the rise was online trading, not money circulation. He said his party planned to hold an agitation to highlight its demands.
