Major Ports volleyball from March 28

KOCHI: Cochin Port Trust will host the 31st all-India Major Ports volleyball tournament at the South End Recreation Club, Willingdon Island, from March 28 to 31.

Nine teams — Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Tuticorin, New Mangalore, Cochin, Mormugao, Paradip and Vizag — will be seen in action.

N. Ramachandran, Chairman, Cochin Port Trust, will inaugurate the tournament.

Chess camp

The MBM Chess Academy’s annual summer chess coaching camp will be held at its premises, opposite Polytechnic College, HMT Junction, Kalamassery, from April 2.
