Regulatory orders

City Police Commissioner, K.C. Mahali has clamped regulatory orders under section 41 of the Madras City Police Act prohibiting public assemblies, demonstrations and processions in all the fifteen police station limits till the midnight of April 7. The orders are aimed at averting breach of public peace and tranquillity by persons belonging to different political, social, economic and religious ideologies.
