BJP, TRS back doctors’ strike

Novel protest: Government doctors selling fruits at the hunger strike camp on the premises of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Adilabad on Tuesday.
ADILABAD: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) extended their support to the cause of Government doctors whose relay hunger strike entered the second day on Tuesday.
The agitating doctors sold fruits at the strike camp to draw the attention of people and Government towards their demand for raise in salaries. Besides the political parties the striking doctors also got the support of Gazetted Officers Association and the Telangana NGO Union and AP Treasury Services Association. BJP’s Praful Vaze, president of GOA (district unit), Mohd. Murtuza, TNGO general secretary participated in the strike.
