Ready for unity talks: Kanthapuram

Kozhikode: Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobakker Musliyar, general secretary, Markazu Ssaquafathi Ssunniyya (Sunni Cultural Centre), has said he is ready for discussions on the unity of Sunni organisations. Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, he said any group including the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) was welcome to come up with talks on the unity issue. Asked whether IUML State president Syyed Muhammedali Shihab Thangal was also invited to the international ‘milad’ conference to be held in Kozhikode on March 28, he said all were invited. — Staff Reporter
