Plea to develop railway station

KOCHI: The Kalamassery railway station must be developed and more trains allotted a stop there, the Kalamassery Pourasamity has demanded.

Alupuram Sakir, coordinator of the Pourasamity, said here on Tuesday that recently a delegation led by K. Chandran Pillai, MP, met Chairman of the Railway Board K.C. Jena and submitted a memorandum, demanding that Railways deploy a high-level team to assess the need to stop more trains at the station.
