Seminar on biochemistry held

PUDUCHERRY: The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Pondicherry University organised a one-day national seminar on ‘Recent Trends in Biochemistry’ on Wednesday.

The aim of the seminar was to provide an update on the latest developments in the field of biochemistry, Head of the Department K. Jeevaratnam said.

Anandkumar from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Cletus De’Souza from the University of Mysore, Venugopal Menon from Annamalai University, Sunitha Nair from Novartis India, and Viswanath from the University of Mysore spoke on the current trends in biochemistry.

The Vice Chancellor of the University J. A. K. Tareen and Dean of the School of Life Sciences S. Jayachandran also spoke.
