Ravinder Kumar memorial lecture

NEW DELHI: The Academy of Third World Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia here is organising the sixth Ravinder Kumar Memorial Lecture on “Uncovering the Demographic History of Colonial India” by Amiya Kumar Bagchi this Saturday.

A renowned economist and historian, Prof. Bagchi was educated at Presidency College, Calcutta, and Trinity College, UK. He has taught and researched at his alma mater in Kolkata as well as Cambridge.
