Trapped

BANGALORE: The Lokayukta police caught a bill collector of Bangalore North taluk for allegedly accepting a bribe for changing khata of two sites. According to a press release, K.R. Siddappa demanded Rs. 7,500 and Rs. 2,500 as advance from Nazeer Ahmed Khan of Sathanur for the change of khata of two sites in Hunasamaranahalli. He was caught while he was allegedly accepting Rs. 4,500. S.L. Kamadolli, a village accountant in Gadag district, was caught while he was allegedly accepting Rs. 1,000 for issuing Form No.21 for mutation of an ancestral property. The Lokayukta police arrested Kamadolli for committing an offence under the Prevention of Corruption Act. — Staff Reporter
