BHUBANESWAR: As many as 344 students of city-based Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB) were presented graduating diplomas at the 17th annual convocation of the B-School here on Wednesday. Speaking at the convocation, Shekhar Datta, Chairman of Bombay Stock Exchange Limited, exhorted students to fulfil their obligations to society while excelling in their respective fields. The first and second rank holders, Soumya Gayatri and Puspamitra Prusty were awarded the C.M. Kandoi Gold Medals along with a cash award of Rs.10000 and Rs.5000 respectively. Honours were also showered on Megha Sinha, Lady Topper (Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Rural Management) and Suchita Dikshit for topping Human Resource Management and Tushar Bagla for all round performance. Chairman of the XIMB Governing Board Rajive Kaul and director P.T. Joseph were present on the occasion.
