Encroachments

KARAIKAL: The Public Works Department in Karaikal district in the Union Territory of Puducherry on Tuesday and Wednesday removed the encroachments on the Government land in various parts of the district. The authorities had also removed the thatched sheds put up by the Congress and the DMK on Nedungadu Road near here with police protection.
