Masula polls: 43 disqualified

HYDERABAD: The SEC has disqualified 43 candidates who contested for the post of ward members in the elections to the Machilipatnam Municipality in 2005 for not filing statements of poll expenditure. All of them were defeated. In an order dated March 24, the Commission disqualified them from contesting any elections for three years from the date the orders were passed.
