Joshna loses

Chennai: Squash ace Joshna Chinappa failed to cross the final hurdle once again. After storming into the final in the NSC Tour I tournament, a $12,000 WISPA event in Kuala Lumpur, the Indian went down to the top seed Jaclyn Hawkes of New Zealand in straight games in the title round on Wednesday.

The sixth-seeded Joshna did put up a fight, but it came quite late after she was down by two games in this 30-minute encounter. Jaclyn won 9-4, 9-2, 10-8.
