BANGALORE: The Excise Enforcement police have arrested Venkatesh alias Sabbana (25) and Hussain alias Pammaiah (34) for transporting illicit liquor and seized 116 bottles of Indian Made Liquor and other items worth Rs. 41,840. The arrested have been remanded in judicial custody and one more person Sridhar alias Narayanappa, stated to be a former MLA, was absconding. – Staff Reporter
