Metro takes a painful turn on M.G. Road

M.G. Road is the city’s top shopping slot. It remains a prestigious location for traders too.

The proposed metro rail is scheduled to pass through this arterial road.

Ideally, this should add glamour to the locale.

But, the traders do not seem to think so.

They have joined hands to seek a diversion at the final stage of approval of the project.

The public eagerly waiting for the project, which should solve the traffic crisis, has one question.

Will the traders’ stance spell doom to the project?
