Khadi outlet, jewellery shop burgled

VILLUPURAM: A jewellery shop on Bazar Street at Sankarapuram near here was burgled on Wednesday night.

According to the police, the jewellery shop owner lodged a complaint saying that on Thursday morning he found the lock broke open and silver articles missing.

A burglary was also committed in the Khadi Kraaft showroom on the Sankarapuram-Thirukkovilur road. Manager R. Dhanalakshi (42) said that when she reached the showroom in the morning, she found the shutters broke open and cash missing.
