RTC polls peaceful

VIZIANAGARAM: Polling to elect recognised union in the RTC North East Coastal Region on Thursday passed off peacefully in all the nine depots – Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram, S.Kota, Salur, Srikakulam-1, Srikakulam–2, Palasa, Palakonda and Tekkali. After the counting of postal ballots on March 31 the results would be declared officially by the Department of Labour on April 15. However, the result is likely to be known unofficially by late in the night. –Correspondent
