KOCHI: The Admission Supervisory Committee for professional colleges has asked the management of Medical Mission Nursing College at Thiruvalla to refund the additional fee collected from a student of the 2005-09 batch. A release issued by the committee here on Thursday said the management had the authority to collect only Rs.49,400, as recommended by the K.T. Thomas Committee in 2004. The committee observed that the management collected an additional Rs.34,000 from the student. The release said the management representatives had failed to appear before the committee despite getting registered notices on five occasions. — Staff Reporter
