Highlighting woes: Workers of the Kerala Karshaka Sangham stage a sit-in before the Raj Bhavan on Thursday raising various demands. - Thiruvananthapuram: The pro-CPI(M) Kerala Karshaka Sangham took out a Raj Bhavan march on Thursday to press its ten-point charter of demands. The demands include reversal of the neo-liberal economic policy of the Centre, remunerative price for paddy and coconut, inclusion of six produce in the Central Price Stabilisation List, setting up of a National Farmers Debt Relief Commission, reducing price of fertilizers, petrol, diesel and kerosene, adequate Central aid for crop loss due and distribution of ‘pattas’ to peasants who are in possession of land since January 1, 1977. The sangham submitted a memorandum to the Governor.
