MANALORE: Notwithstanding the “examination-season”, people are thronging the crafts exhibition at Hotel Woodlands here.
The Assistant Director of the office of Development Commissioner for Handicafts, Mangalore, P. The “Crafts Bazar” is showcasing a wide range of artificial jewellery, textiles with and without embroidery, statues, wood carvings and paintings, among others. Wood carving expert from Mysore, Ramesh Achar, said people evinced interest in different artefacts. Mr. Sashidar said jewellery and textile products were a hit. He expressed disappointment over the scheduling of the event.
