Serial on impact of ancient philosophy
DD-India (Doordarshan’s satellite channel) will telecast ‘Indian Imprints,’ a documentary serial on the impact of ancient Indian philosophy, art and culture on South East Asia, at 1 p.m. on Sundays.
A curtain raiser for the 18-episode documentary will be telecast on March 30 and the serial will follow from April 6. The documentary, produced by Mohana Krishnaswamy and written and directed by S. Krishnaswamy of Krishnaswamy Associates, was filmed in over 100 locations in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Indonesia. Cinematographer Madhu Ambat and composer Rajhesh Vaidhya were involved in the project, according to a press release issued here.
